How Cedar Creek began
Dr. Rachel Owens opened Cedar Creek Animal Hospital in 2009, across from Hyde Park. She wanted North End families to be able to bring a puppy in for its first shots and keep seeing the same vet for the whole life of that animal.
That idea still shapes how the clinic runs. The team treats dogs, cats and birds, and every visit starts the same way, with a full nose-to-tail exam. Nothing gets done to your animal before you have seen the cost in writing.
The clinic sits next to the coffee shop, a short walk from downtown. Most owners ring the clinic to arrange a time, and the team will tell you what to bring and what to expect.

- You see the estimate on paper, so the numbers are in front of you before anyone agrees to anything.
